Summer Touch Rugby 2006

This was the seventh year of the Club’s Annual Tournament which was featured in 2003 on Sky Sport’s Sport’s Nation. It all started on Thursday 18th May. We welcomed the return of the Touchie Feelie who won the Hookway cup after a thrilling finale and a play off to beat the Swans by scoring a Golden Try. The Tournament awards were presented at the Fayrewood Inn as follows:

• Tournament Winners – Touchie Feelie
• Best Player – Chris Tunnicliff
• Best Lady Player – Marie Modrego
• Best Junior Player – Nathan StartAnnual Dinner

This Season’s annual duinner was held at the the St Leonards Hotel on Friday 9th June 2006. Nearly 80 members & guests enjoyed a super evening & our thanks the the Hotel for hosting us so well and to Alan & Kim Rex for organising the Event.Congratulation to all those players and members who received Club Awards.
